About Us

Welcome to our blog and thank you for taking time to find out a little more about us!

We are Stephan, from Germany, and Yuily, from Taiwan. We absolutely love traveling and have both been abroad independently for several years until we met in the beautiful nature of New Zealand. If this sounds overly romantic, it maybe is. But first, let’s introduce ourselves individually.

Stephan

Caps save lives!

Stephan

Pleased to meet you! My first name is Stephan, I grew up, lived, and worked for a long while in Germany’s southwestern corner. While my life there had been OK, I always enjoyed going away from home.

Vacations from work were my first steps in solo traveling, taking me to places like the USA, Japan, Costa Rica and South Africa. Each of these trips was limited in time, and after a few years I found myself short of vacation days to realize my dreams. Fortunately, on these short trips I met several like-minded people who made me convince myself that a life traveling is possible.

I took a big step in 2013, quitting my job and selling most of my possessions, to travel long term. In the following years I saw many more places and met many more people, it was better than I could ever have imagined. It was a dream come true for me and I’m still living it, and it won’t end soon.

In 2015 I lived a year in Taiwan to earn money for Our Unlimited Cycling Dream, which we keep living now.

You will only regret the things that you don’t do, not the ones you do.

Money is better spent in experiences than material things!

Yuily

Little Mole!

Yuily

Nice to meet you, my name is Yuily. I am very local, grown up in Taiwan. Since I was a child, I knew I had a dream to travel around the world. My parents told me it’s just my daydreaming since our family was poor. When I grew up, the dream didn’t disappear but it became stronger and stronger. So I worked for few years and saved money to make my dreams come true.

In 2011, I started a working holiday in Australia, and since then I spent most of my time abroad. There were usually some surprises and unknown things in front of me, some were pleasant, some were not. But I usually thought positive, then good things happened all the time. At times there were things that I hated so much, yet they could turn out to be so memorable and fulfilling for me!
